Working together

Clear pricing.
Agreed terms.

Every website starts with a conversation and a written proposal. This page explains how projects are scoped and which details will be confirmed in your individual agreement before you commit.

Your project scope

Your proposal identifies the pages, design work, features, SEO setup and content support included in the build. It also explains the planned review stages and any dependencies, such as supplying text, photographs or access to existing services.

Booking systems, online shops, specialist integrations and additional pages are included where specifically agreed. Requests that change the scope are discussed and quoted before the additional work begins.

The one-off build fee

The initial website build is priced as a one-off project fee for the agreed scope. Your written quote confirms the total, any applicable tax, the payment schedule and any deposit or milestone payments. These details are agreed before the project starts.

Any domain registration, business email, paid software, stock assets or third-party subscriptions required for your project are identified in the proposal, including whether they are included or billed separately.

Ongoing hosting and support

Ongoing hosting is available for client websites. Your hosting agreement sets out the recurring fee, billing frequency, renewal arrangements, platform, and the support or maintenance included.

Content updates and additional development are covered where agreed. The proposal explains any allowances, response arrangements and separate charges. Any minimum term, notice period, price-change process and cancellation arrangements are confirmed in writing before you subscribe.

Communication, reviews and timing

You'll work directly with Ben, with clear progress updates and opportunities to review the design. The proposal confirms the review stages, the revisions included and how feedback should be provided.

Project timings depend on the agreed scope, feedback and delivery of content. If something affects the schedule, the next steps and any revised dates are discussed with you.

Content, images and search optimisation

You confirm that you have permission to use the text, photographs, logos and other materials you supply. Any content creation or image editing by Digital Build Co is identified in the scope and presented for review.

SEO work is described in your proposal. Search performance depends on factors including competition, content and ongoing activity, so particular rankings or enquiry volumes are not guaranteed.

Ownership, access and handover

The agreement explains ownership and usage rights for the finished work, any third-party licences, domain registration, account access and the handover process. It also identifies any platform or subscription requirements that continue after launch.

Changes, cancellation and concerns

The individual agreement sets out what happens if the project is paused or cancelled, how completed work and committed costs are treated, and any applicable cancellation or refund rights. Please raise questions before accepting your proposal so the arrangements are clear.

If you have a concern during the project, contact Ben through the enquiry form so it can be discussed and addressed. Applicable statutory rights continue to apply.
